Selections from Joe Strummer's BBC radio show from the late 90's and early 00's. Joe Strummer was influential to me as a youngster not just for his role in The Clash but for his passionate, love of music. He (along with CBC's Brave New Waves, John Peel, David Sanborn's Night Music, USA Network's Night Flight, and others) opened me up to new sounds and demonstrated the value of remaining open, curious, and ready to embrace amazing music that could come from anywhere at any time.
Joe Strummer's contribution to radio was sadly short-lived but I'm so grateful for what we got. Full episodes can still be found online and well worth listening to for full effect!
