As soon as I went online streaming with Rdio back in 2010, I began monthly or seasonal notebook playlists, collecting everything that caught my ear. This habit has continued for a decade and a half across multiple platforms. Every track available on Apple Music has been collected here in one massive playlist—25.4 days long at this writing.

When the appetite for music is insatiable and the musical universe so vast, it's difficult to resist propelling forward. This collection has become its own galaxy for me to return to. Shuffling through it resurfaces so many long-forgotten delights, and though each track was selected by a younger version of myself, rediscovery can feel just like initial discovery once time and memory have played their parts.
